L/A batteries often exhibit a small voltage rise when the load is disconnected. I doubt that will be enough to overcome the low-voltage cut-off restart point if that exists. That may not happen as today's cars always have a small parasitic load for the computers, but in the old days when "off"truly meant "off"you could sometimes wait and let a battery build back up and get your car started if you'd left the lights on and the battery was just a little too low and not severely depleted.
