Am having trouble inserting Jpg's

They appear to upload fine but only appear as a black square on the page. Have resized them smaller with no success. Up until a week or so ago they were working fine so I cant figure it out Have attached one as an example

Any ideas????

I had problems uploading 12 MP pictures yesterday too, but when i resized them to 30% of the original size it worked fine.

If you look mne was 696KB and wont show up I downsized them from 3.46 MB Attached is a 3.46 MB one which does the same ???? that one doesnt even show up at all

Yeah i notice that, so size should not be the culprit.

what resolution are they? there are some dimension limitations

The downsized pics of mine that worked was 1248 x 936 and 708kb size.

The 70% larger pics i first tried with dident cause any error, actually looked as if they whent up just fine, but it dident work so i had to delete them and try the 30% sized ones ( of my friends 1958 Chevy pickup in his garage )

Can you share the original picture...either post it on a file sharing site.

I can then test to see what the issue is.

I posted several 1920x1080 jpegs this evening with no problems.

They attach and get a jpeg name
But clicking thumbnail or full mage does nothing than put a dot on the page

What am I doing wrong

I just go attach files, then select Photos on the iPad like any other forum, then Select a photo, and click done.
It then seems to load on this site and gives a file name but you cant see the image in the thumbnail.
And when you click full image it just leaves a full stop dot on tne page no picture.

you didn't answer the question but from your description it sounds like you might be accessing via the web browser, thy this and you should never have issues with attaching pics https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/tapatalk-200-000-forums/id307880732?mt=8

Thanks for sharing the picture...seems when the dimensions are bigger than certain dimensions, instead of resizing, the forum is inserting a dot. Will investigate the source of this problem.

I think it is fixed now. I adjusted the dimensions. Let me know if it is still an issue.
