Amacam

real one will cost you more, depends what your budget is and what features you'd ideally like to have whether it's the best option or not

Unfortunately the mini 0801 hasn't been very reliable. It's successor the 0803 is a little better, yet still not perfected nor 100% reliable. For $50 bucks, the G1W is a good dashcam with a good video quality and a decent starter cam.

If discreet is what you prefer, for a few bucks more the Mobius is an excellent choice for many reasons. If you want discreet with a screen for under $100, try the B40/A118.

Of course these are just my opinions. Take these as a start and go investigate and ask around here. People here are very friendly. A good resource of cams is the home page https://dashcamtalk.com. There is a dash cam comparison and a lot of info on each camera. Next find the forum of the camera you like and read.

Hope this helps

The Mobius is an excellent choice. I have yet to hear of someone who isn't really happy with their Mobius. Make sure you buy from an authorized reseller from the list here https://dashcamtalk.com/forum/threa...help-requests-here-read-posts-1-8-first.4232/. Here in the US, SpyTec http://www.spytecinc.com or Novotm, who is one of the developers, www.buymobius.com are both great choices.

Easiest is to buy the USB adapter, mount and 3m cable from the same seller (BuyMobius sells a package). Also opt for the adhesive mount over the suction cup if you plan to leave the cam installed. It's smaller and more stable and you can just unscrew the Mobius to remove it.

Now just to decide A lens or wide angle B lens.

Enjoy

I have bought 2 Amacam AM-M80 from Amazon and they work great. No problems so far after 3 weeks. I have one at the front and one at the rear. They are well designed and small enough to be inconspicuous. The menu is easy to navigate and set up. The only issue I had was no manual in the box, customer support emailed one within minutes. That's what I call customer support. Just to touch on the comment about it being a "Fake 801" How can it be fake when the so called 801 has a built in GPS. The AM-M80 does not profess to be a copy of any other DVR. It stands on its own merits. I hope this helps.
