Hey all, I am excited to let you know that our v0.1 of YI Open API SDKs (in Java and Swift separately) are available now for our YI 4K Action Camera.
Each of the SDKs provides APIs to do camera control, update camera settings and receive camera status. And also, together with a firmware update, you can use the SDKs for your multi-camera (specifically VR/360) systems.
For now, the number of APIs are limited but we hope they can give you a good head start. Please do expect churns and improvements to the APIs going forward. We also welcome your thoughts and feedbacks on how and where we can improve the APIs.
