any scripts to get rid of 2GB limitation and up bitrate in 1.5.6?

Anybody have any scripts for getting rid of the filesize limitation and upping the bitrate in 1.5.6? I don't really understand the programming things I've seen on here. My girlfriend is taking it diving next week so I'd like to get it done before she leaves if possible. Thanks
