Apeman C420D not saving date or settings

Hi, I've had an Apeman C420D dashcam for some time and a while ago it stopped saving the date and various other settings after I switch off the ignition. It still records video while driving from both front and rear cameras to the Micro SD card. Does anyone know if this is because of a flat internal battery and can it be fixed? thanks.

Mine doing the same after giving "Battery Low" warning for months when switched off. No more warning, just losing settings.

Please tell me how to replace the battery and with what type?

Hi, I had a look at mine to try and open it up but I couldn't see any screws or obvious gaps along the edge to crack it open without damaging it. I'm guessing a dead battery is the problem but it doesn't seem to be replaceable. My previous cheap dashcam had the same issue and that wasn't meant to be opened either so i bought the Apeman. Dashcams should come with end user replaceable batteries like other home user kit so we don't have to bin them and buy another when the battery goes flat and stops charging.
