App says failed to get device information.

I have just downloaded the app and inserted an sd card into the camera. When I try to connect , it tells me failed to get device information. The light is blinking green on the camera. Anyone know how to solve this?

Hi!

Normally when I get that issue, it's because I've connected to the camera once, and then gone off the app or something.

I have always found that if you force close the app and re-open it, it connects.

When I try to connect , it tells me failed to get device information.

You should input the password to do WiFi connection in your phone WAN setting section.

The light is blinking green on the camera.

It indicates that the camera works!

I´ve got the same problem and found out that it´s only on my newest mobile, an Huawei Mate 20 Pro, after the last android update it can not connect to my B1W anymore, but with my old Samsung S6 it works great and so with my gf´s Samsung J7 so the problem is not in the camera, it´s some **** in the newest android version 10.0.0.182. Had no problem with my Mate 20 Pro before this update.
