Are there any upcoming Dash Cams that will use the new Sony IMX249 sensor?

I have been combing the Interwebs for info of the best sensors out there for small cameras found that Sony has a cheaper version of their best sensor out or coming out soon. The IMX174 looks like an awesome part but it has to be very expensive. The IMX249 is supposed to be a cheaper version with slower frame rate, and less resolution, even though for a dash cam 30 fps at 1920 x 1200 sounds fine to me.

I was wondering if any of the manufacturers plan to use this part?

Also, these sensors are Global Shutter type not Rolling Shutter, If I understood the literature on them, Global Shutter will have less motion blur. Is that a correct assesment? If so, are there cameras out today that use Global Shutter?

Here are some links:

Point Grey was the only place I found details on this part, I would love to see outdoor test footage taken with one of these, if anyone knows where to find it.
