That's how the hardwire kit comes with the A129 I bought from Amazon. If memory serve, I think it's a 15 amp fuse for a micro3 fuse. Here is a good link in regard to the hardwire kit.

5 amp is correct, 2 or 3 amp would also work fine.
15 amp is too much to protect the cables properly.

This video is mandatory for all people who wants to hardwire power banks for camera. While average power consumption of camera is ~0,25A@12V (for Viofo A129GPS DUO*), power consumption of power bank while charging is up to 15A@12V (for Cellink Neo9).

Yes, based on the type of fuse you are using. The video I posted above shows you how and where the fuses mount.
