I need a recommendation on a good sneaker for everyday wear and doesn't cost over $65.00 and comes in different widths, anyone know of something I should look at?

I have a range of sneakers or as we Danes call them "tennis shoes", but i cant say it is something i care much for so i have just about any brand out there, found when they are on sale and as cheap as possible.
I would prefer to walk bare feet and just wear a pair of shorts and a T shirt, but thats not possible here aside for a few days every summer.
If i was a cast away on a little palm island i would run around butt naked, even if my clothe and shoes still worked
And anyone passing buy on a boat, would see me in the binoculars and go " O hell no" and keep sailing.

General comfort for walking, standing, and no specialised use like LaCrosse? :)

I have big, wide feet, and hate buying shoes in a store, or trying to.
I've been getting most of my shoes off of amazon.
In the truck shoes get chewed up, mostly the soles from climbing in on the saw tooth step surfaces.
I need something comfortable to wear when driving, standing, walking, and easy to slip on and off or I will climb into bed with them on for a nap.

One shoe I've been wearing for the last few years is a Propet brand, Stewart, or Stuart, model 'work' shoe. Basically a sneaker with fake laces and a single velcro closure.
Mesh body, claims non slip, not strange looking. I don't pay full price but search amazon every couple of months and often find my size in one color for 60-80% off listed price. I snatch them up. Very light and comfortable for me, hold up OK. Wouldn't pay close to the full retail price of $50 +/-. (THink I'm averaging under $20)

They usually have 3-5 colors, depending on Size. Propet also has very wide widths and extended sizes, and seem to be mostly carried by specialty shoe sellers. Don't pay retail, check amazon.

My previous go to shoe was a Skechers 'kitchen' model, non slip, supposed to be for use in wet areas, but basically a black or white normal looking sneaker. $50 more or less. Very comfortable, holds up OK.

WHen new and not beat up both look normal enough for casual wear. :)

+1 for Sketchers. I have 3 or 4 pair of different styles and they're all very comfortable.

@dash riposki - I'm going to have to look for those Prophets, they look interesting. Is their sizing fairly accurate?

@dash riposki Thanks a lot, I'll check them out now. Do the 2 you mentioned breath OK, I've been wearing Timberline boots but they don't breath at all and your feet will sweat in them, awful! Great in winter but NOT summer.

The propet do. The uppers are mostly tight mesh. I have two pairs of gray, one pair of white. The oldest
gray ones get thrown in the washing machine occasionally.

You can feel the draft when it's really cold, and you don't want to wear them when raining. :) (or snow)
They do dry quickly, though.
I'm not sure why they label them 'work'? Not really heavy duty or any exception non-slip properties.

The skechers are basically normal leather sneakers.

I checked out the price of the Propet Stewart (Amazon), for 12 X-W they wanted $75.00! I'm really starting to wonder if the cookies they store on everyone's computer looks for mention of products and raises the price on them, or some similar scheme is in place. This sort of thing has happened to often in the last few months!

The price varies, sometimes for obvious reasons, (summer shoe?) and sometimes I can't even guess. I wear a 14. I'm kind of used to looking before I need them, and snatching up a good price.
I just checked my order history, bought 3 pairs of these since April 2018. 1 @ 19, 1@25., 1@16. Same shoes 56 and 74 now.

Probably around $50 or less they are a good value.

Heck you have a few Skechers outlet stores near Baltimore, may be worth a look. Try on some and google the online price of stuff you like. :)
