Battery problem Mivue 720 Pro

I bought a Mivue 720 Pro and I have a question, whether she should work on the battery normally? I ask because when the camera is turned on the battery, displays starts up and the camera turns off, is it normal? The camera is rand new. How long battery should lasting?

Hi, I have a 792 Pro, which I guess is similar to yours.
Apparently, there is not a battery, but a capacitor fitted, this only holds a charge for about ten minutes. Enough time to take a couple of photos at an accident for example.

if you can take photos with it when disconnected it has a battery, capacitors would be dead in under 30 seconds

not familiar with their hardware spec but 5 to 10 minutes of runtime on batteries is about right for most models with built in batteries

Yep, ignore the quoted "1 hour" or whatever it is.

Most I've had out of my cams was about 20 minutes when new, and one switches off as if it's capacitor powered even though its not
