Hello I'm new in this forum but has been visiting for a while now.

I live in panama and we don't have street light even in some of the main roads, and the chinese dvr I have tried in the $50-100 price range won't record properly in low light.

What I am looking for is a dashcam that does:

Let me state that my car has medium tinted window film.

-Excellent low light recording (which is the best?)
-Loop recording
-Heat resistant (temp reach up to 40c in summer)
-Easy to detach
-Auto on-off

-price is not a concern

Thanks

Still don´t exist something we call the best in low quality , nothing made in moment you going tell is Outstanding.
thus what exist in moment is not bad.

i use a LS300W comes whit WDR and uses Aptina 3030 that is a good sensor for low night , works very nice at low night ambient

Can check my videos if you like it. also LS300w isn't expensive. and exist GT300W OEM Version if you like OEM.

Youtube :

by the way not tinted window so i dunno how it´s will react for you.

also , VicoVations late models like TF2+ looks good in dark environment duo the WDR.
but it´s too big camera for my taste , i stick over small models that i can hide close Mirror.
and Lukas 7900 , i Don´t see yet Lukas can check Lukas Section and forum and ask opinions.

The LS300w is really nice but the mounting optins wont work for me. under the hot sun the suction cup will eventually fall off and lose suction with time as I tried with other cellphone mounts. I prefer double side tape option as it has proven reliable with some generic cams I have used.

I would like some words comparing the TF2+ and the LS300w in low light conditions, your experience with these cams. Having seen both of their video in youtubw I can say the only reason I wouldnt go for the vicovation is the large size, and the mounting option on the ls300w is kinda letdown.

Although I believe I can work something out to make it hold better.

You can use a 3M sticky mount on the LS300W/GT300W. I have mine mounted like that. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/tmjfvuv6hurladt/EnbiusRFqw

Yes just the way I like it. A little bit of black tape over the text and LED light in front works wonders. :D
Cannot tell from outside unless there is full sun directly on the windshield.

Thanks guys after viewing many videos I decided to place an order for the LS400W in aliexpress seller "shenzhen saddle" for $145.

As for the mount I think I can convert the suction mount into 3M double side tape.

I was going for TF2+ but it was almost twice the price as DOD products and image quality are very good both.
