Best dash cam to buy?

I'm looking to buy my husband a dash cam and trying to figure out which is the best. Budget is around $300-$350au. I've done some research and have found the Garmin 55w, Garmin 65w and Nextbase 522GW.

Without knowing the exact requirements it’s difficult to say but looking at the 55w and 65w I can’t see any reason why the Viofo 119 V3 shouldn’t also be considered. It has the same spec and also has parking mode if you later wish to enable it.
