Motion Detection works in 2 ways for parking mode while away from the car. (if hard wired for power)

1) Pause Resume Motion Detection (you miss things that happened leading up to the event from the activation lag)

2) Pre-Buffer motion detection (you capture 5-10 seconds of video right before the event trigger occurred so nothing is missed)

Which camera has Prebuffer motion detection? Does it have gps?

I haven't hardwired mine, but the kit you've listed looks suspiciously cheap. It may be ok, but I wouldn't trust it unless someone says they've got it & it's ok.

Perhaps I am coming in too late and don't understand, but why are you buying the 2 USB cables?

Are you getting 2 hard wire kits, one for each Mobius?

The Mobius only needs class 4 Micro SD cards, so if they are cheaper, you might be able to save a couple bucks.

Last thing, you can use any mount that is 1/4" x 20 - in case you were just picking that one mount because it has the Mobius mentioned in it.

Ah only reason for going for "Anker" and "Lindy" is because I wanted a good quality cable, that will stay in, won't snap etc... ie: it might be cheaper in the long run

The hardwire kit already has a USB plug end. Which is why I'm wondering why you're buying 2 USB cables - though one looks to be like you plug it into your phone so you can watch the video? If that's the case you'd also need an OTG cable because the mobius only accepts mini usb plugs; does that make sense?

According to the Amazon description, the Nextbase hardwiring kit includes 4 metres of cable, so no need for other cables.



You can use 64GB or 128GB cards.

I replaced the battery with the capacitor kit in both of my Mobius cams. Takes 5 minutes. Gives me peace of mind when leaving the car parked on hot summer days.
