Hi
I have read few threads on this topic but could not find conclusive answer on LK=7900.

I am running on default settings at the moment and I'm on latest firmware.
I live in UK where the number plates are big compared to many other countries.
I can only read the number plates if
- I am less than 30 MPH
So if the car is above that speed, I cannot read the plates.

My questions to all you guys are
1- What settings are you running which work best for you guys?
2- You location and size of the plate
3- Any modification/ tweak that helped you.

Can we kindly share this info?
The purpose is that we can try those settings which have been tried by our forum members in nearly similar environment.

I find that when I change to full screen and then use the space bar to stop the video, I get very clear, crisp pictures of license plates, bumper/window stickers, road signs, billboards, etc. Our (N. Carolina, USA) plates are on the rear only, and are about 3/4 the size of yours

I can not read Danish plates at night if there is too mutch difference in speed between camera and target licence plate, if i am parked or wery slow moving there is no problems reading plates in front of me and parked or slow moving cars at the side.

We need even more light sensetive cameras so they can maintain a fast shutter speed at night

Using LK-7500 witch is just about the same. "default settings" / 11Mbps - FPS 30 - AE settings set to low - EVR off - not using optional filter
