Best settings for night time driving?

I just installed a Mini 0805 in my Jeep and I was wondering if anybody has played with the settings to optimize the 0805 for night time driving. I primarily drive at night and want to make sure I am using the best settings possible.

I currently have it set to use 2304x1296 30p for the resolution and I have the metering set to center. There are not a light of street lights where I live (South Metro Denver, Colorado), so I want to make sure it is getting as much light as possible.

Think the 21:9 setting does better on these than the other options

Since you primarily drive at night, you can increase exposure value (EV) to make your night scene brighter. Of course increasing EV will also introduce more digital noise to your video too, so there is a balance you have to experiment with. Increasing EV also can blow out your daytime sky but in your case it seldom affects you.
