When I turn on dashcam nextbase 312GW it turns on the goes to black screen but blue light on. If you turn off car and restart it go’s on

@NextBase Tiffany will have a better idea for what might be causing this, but I think being Bank Holiday Monday, she will not see the thread until Tuesday.

Have you tried the reset button to see if it restores default settings?

Have been to Halfords where fitted and they said it was the screen saver turned on. So there chap pressed some buttons and said all done ok. But problem still there. Battery low comes on do you still have to charge battery as is hard wired to car ( Tucson )

Not normally. I never take my 312 out of my wife's car. It just works.
Q1. Do you have parking mode on?
Q2. Does the light turn blue when connected to the car (when the car is switched on)?

@DKJ you may need to periodically charge the battery depending on how many hours a week you're driving.

Please charge on the USB cable inside your home for 2 hours, that should get you back to normal.

Then when you're driving it will provide the battery with little top ups.
