Even Blackview is new brand, well, have been manufacturing Car DVR devices for years.
Based on domestic success of brand "凌度", start launching worldwide attracting project... Welcome contact!!

Comparing with other brands, we supply competitive DVRs based on good price and quality.

It's unfortunate you have chosen the name "Blackview" since there is a Korean company called "Blackvue". I know it's Chinese tradition to copy the names of other companies, but this seems to have worked against you.

The poor quality and lack of support of Blackvue units has destroyed their reputation in the North American market. Will your cameras suffer the same fate?

Also, BBMC/Blackbox my car / Black box my car has further destroyed Blackvue's reputation by denying legitimate warranty claims when BBMC became a distributor. BBMC has a google alert on their name, so say thanks to them for destroying Blackvue/Blackview's reputation.

Unless your units have some killer quality in terms of workmanship or image quality, selling "Blackview" dashcams will be an uphill battle in Canada and probably the US. We have extreme weather here. It's going down to -40 next week. In a few months, the interiors of our cars will easily hit 70. If your units can't stand that kind of range, then you have no chance.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Actually, I think that your comment is unilateral.
If you bought the device from the 3rd party, you need to ask for the warranty from the 3rd party, not the 1st guy to sell in bulk, it is our common rules.

Being myself in some other areas business trade I agree with you 50% ( I am also being there, - seeing it, so I udnerstand your position ) , other 50% telling something else.
Take for example brand names like Sonim ( or any other phone or electronic device ). If I buy it even from eBay ( brand new never used, sealed package ) and travel for long vacation to other country, if something happens to the phone within time I am still in that "other country", I go to official authorised Sonim service centre / dealer of that country, I provide them proof of purchase ( PayPal, credit card etc ) + check seriel nr / IMEI to see approx date of manufacturing / buy / sell stock, and after 5min take it for repair. This actually happened to me with latest Sonim ( back 3y ago ) and I was impressed that there was no hassle for me. I only needed to pay 1-way shipping cost back to country of origin I was flying back. If I would stay longer in that "visiting country", I would get it for no extra charge.
Same way should all other manufacturers behave and control their so called "non-authorised" resellers network.

Before he purchased in bulk, the manufacturer, ie someone in your position, agreed to provide the standard 1 year warranty. Then backed out after someone agreed to be a distributor.

You still haven't answered why someone should buy your products. There are dozens of "brands" that carry the same cloned products you do. The only "unique" product you have is the LD500.

I have a DM7000 from Blackview that doesn't actually loop record... I can select loop recording from the menu but then it just fills up the memory card and reports that the card is full, stops recording.

Is there new firmware available? Is this model the same as other model numbers?

Thank you.

Dear Sir, could you please kindly tell me the version number of your device, then I will send you the latest firmware, and please kindly tell me your e-mail~~
Oh, by the way, where did you buy our product from?

We have our own engineer team to design our own products, SMT, assemble, produce line, QC team to make quality products.
As for our LD500, this model only for domestic market, but if you can provide us with your Radar data, then we can do it for you.

Why is this even in this section? Shouldn't it be in the vendor's section?

Niko, I agree with you 50% ! How manufacturers behave and control their so called "non-authorised" resellers? One way is the after-sale service should proceed in company rule, buyer respond to his seller if any problems, not all directly to manufacturer. After-sale service is different based on different situation. If manufacturer support OEM/ODM service to some brand, for example, Sonim, them Sonim is surely will be responsbile for the after-sale services from all customers. Manufacturer will be only responsible to Sonim. But if manufacturer have their own brand, for example, Blackview, they will build own after-sell service team to handle all of this.

I agree with you in relation to ODM or non Branded product.
If re-seller sells manufacturer own logo / branded product, then manufacturer should control how re-seller warranty and after-sales works in order not to damage brand name.
