did you changed to a different password?
If so, maybe you can try reset it back to "blackvue" see if it work.

Have you got WIFI turned on in the settings on the Camera

By chance are you connected to the BV with another device while trying to connect with your iPhone, perhaps a tablet or a different phone?

The camera can only connect to one device at a time.

If not how strong and how stable is the BV wifi signal strength? You should have full, consistent signal strength at close distance. If your wifi signal is weak/unstable, you could have a problem with the Wifi-module on the camera and need a replacement.

Finally, you need to use the default password. If you changed the password through the iPhone APP, the password will not work.

EDIT: Actually, looking at your screen capture, it looks like you changed the default password to something else. You entered 13 characters. You probably changed the default password using the iPhone APP. In order to change the default password, you need to do it in the desktop application, not the iphone application. Changing the wifi password on the iPhone application will cause connection problems.

So this is what I have done so far ,

Sealed box

Opened and plugged into lighter socket

Downloaded iphone 5 app
In settings looked for blkvue

Enter password default at first I thought it was this
Plus the 6 numbers from the side of the box

No luck
Even on the app it cannot connect

Proberly because of wrong password error or something

Then after prompting by other members I read the book again ;)

And found this :)

Great I thought

So I ended my home wifi
Reset my phone again

And reset the camera again by pushing the reset button

I thought ok let's try settings again

Found it on here
And then entered the default password

Blackvue

Yes yes sir

Even has the new wifi symbol on the phone see. ,

Ok then I went back to the app and tried to click on the center button
Which says wifi

And

I guess. I should be at square one but I can't be because I am connected in the settings to the camera ,
Wifi
But the app does not find it

Huh :(

So now having my bowl of cereal at 1030pm
Because the sugar will kick in I think

I am no further

Thanks for the help

Please help :)

I have the same issue. But this was after I updated to the new Blackvue App. Previos iPhone App version I was able to login and view my files. Now it is doing the same as you. It is connected to the Blackvue because you can still see the Live feed and the settings...but no access to the files. I am also looking for an answer...

I was going to update the blackvue
On the
Mac

But with past experience from other software updates on Mac

Running issues. Always worried me

I have held off on that update just in case there is any bugs

:::::::
How about going back to the old version

I have not connected my blackvue to the Mac yet

I have saved the files on the phone
But not gone that step further

I have a DR650GW-2CH & iPhone 5.

For the record, I was having the same issue, not being able to connect my iPhone to the Blackvue using WiFi. I did a bit of a Google search and ended up here. This is how I fixed it:

Firstly, I was setting up the BlackVue in my garage which was within distance of my home WiFi. I thought that this was interfering so I moved the car out of distance of my home network. This didn't work. I disconnected my iPhone from my home network, this didn't work.

Upon re-reading the instructions (http://blackvueshop.co.uk/support/manuals/) I found that you could reformat the card whilst it was inserted in the BlackVue. To do this you have to hold down the WiFi button for 10 seconds. After ten seconds the BlackVue makes a noise. Release your finger from the button and the BlackVue formats the card for about 20-30 seconds then commences normal operation. I then went to the settings in my iPhone to connect to WiFi (settings > WiFi), selected the BlackVue WiFi network and entered the password 'blackvue' (all lower case). I then went to the BlackVue App on my phone and selected 'BlackVue Wi-Fi'. Success!

Note (from my experience so far) that if you want to connect you phone with the WiFi you must turn on the WiFi on the BlackVue every time the camera has shut down. I also had to connect to the BlackVue WiFi, on my iPhone, every time.

Also, a reset via the software on your computer doesn't work.

Hope this helps.
