I installed a BlackVue 900X Plus 2CH dashcam but it is draining the car battery. I had to jump-start yesterday.

My car is my Porsche Cayanne 2020. I'm using hardwire method and I set the cut-off voltage to 12.5V and 1 hour time, but neither voltage or time limit is not working. I checked videos and I can see that it recorded parking mode videos for 2 days.

I installed my dashcam at a local store and maybe they did something wrong. I attached my setup and app settings. The dashcam still works even at 11.7V. Would you please give me an idea about the problem?

Are they positive the cable labelled as ACC is connected to an ACC fuse?

I would highly recommend that you get a battery pack (like Cellink Neo) and not use your car battery.

The battery pack will only charge when the car is running and provide power for the dash camera. (it's worth every penny and less headaches)

Then you can turn off the voltage cut off feature.

Also, Blackvue uses the yellow colored wire as constant 12 volt and red wire as ACC 12 volt (which can be confusing). Maybe they are switched?

Also, Make sure your DC power connector is pushed all the way into the camera until it clicks.

Other than that it maybe a software glitch, not sure.
