I've had my DR300g for nearly a year, the camera sometimes fails to record a section of video for a about a minute or two then continues.

Sometimes a file that is playing freezes the viewer every time that particular file is played back.

The Blackvue will restart it's self on occasions while I'm driving, only later I find that at some point earlier it had stopped recording.

I've 2 SD cards, I've tested the memory with the Windows pc software, I reformat the SD card in use and install the firmware once a week.

The camera's software seems unstable to me.

Has anyone else had any similar problems?

I'm thinking of buying Roadhawk camera to replace it!

    Many thanks for any advice.

Hi, the DR300 and 380 are one of the earlier Blackvue cameras.
Known to be very unreliable with high defect rates.

Thanks CoreTech, I sent an email to Pittasoft through their web site reporting my problems, they just directed me to the FAQ/QA page which was a waste of time.

I wish I'd found this forum last year!

    Cheers
