nice design, hopefully that blue light is an option and can be turned off

not sure I like the short press for mute, long press for format, I could see people making a mistake with that and accidentally formatting their card, that's much a user problem as it is a design one though

good to see they've gone back to a more sensible lens spec and slightly better bitrate

I like... it is a pity the external GPS...

Basically no changes from previouse wifi Blackvue series from overall design and operations / functions point of view.
A little bit positive thing is that they finally rised a bit-rate to 10.5Mbps. Better would be 12, or best if 15Mbps.
1. This is not a series with wifi
2. 10 MB before was the predecessor Blackvue DR400G-HD II (nothing has changed in this respect)
3. It is smaller size in comparison with the Wi-Fi series

Yeah, I have mentioned the same. No major changes in comparison to past models ( incl dr400 ) other than very little bit-rate ( more correct is 10.6Mbps from calculations of 16Gb can write 4h20min ), but maybe 0.6Mbps is coming from average maximum calculation, so its not that important.

Only difference is slight change in size as you mentioned, but its not that marginal.

I dont see any convincing reasonable point why they released this model. For the money they invested into "development" of new shell and advertising, they better could use it into more seriouse project. Altough I like Blackvue form factor.

Anyway, need to see its real life performance, stability and only then can judge. Maybe this time they can surprise.

1. Completed work is conversion firmware from Korean into English
2. Completed work on manufacturing is custom firmware in English with the opportunity to increase the bitrate

I just received my 3500 FHD couples days ago and did the video testing. When I play back the video on my computer, it is 28 fps and the video not really smooth. The firmware is 1.000 at that time. I updated the camera to v2.003 now. Will that fix that problem?Anyone could help? Thanks.
