Blackvue Dr3500 FHD Very Hot

Hello, I just bought a Blackvue DR-3500 FHD. It gets very hot when in parking mode even at night in my gargae where there is no motion or anyone is bumping the car. I set the parking mode motion sensitivity to zero and the impact setting to a low one.

Is it normal for the camera to get so hot? I have a Chevrolet where the lighter is always on so I got the Blackvue because of the parking mode feature, I assumed it would turn itself off and on, but now I realize it is always on. After 20 minutes of being in parking mode in my garage with no activity it got very hot. I saw another post where it seems this was a problem this model has had in the past.

As long as the plastic wrap from shipping has been removed you should be okay.
The temperature of the device wouldn't really be affected by the amount of motion/g-sensor as the camera sensor and processor are always on as long as the power cable is getting power
