So recently my rearview camera seems to be going out. Thought it was a cable issue so replaced the cable and the problem seems to persist.
Looked at the female jack of the rearview camera, but I'm not sure what I'm looking for exactly. Opened it up and pushed the metal prong on the female connector closer to the male cable ( cable picture http://prntscr.com/trwwrr). That did not fix it.
Here's some video footage of what I'm seeing
- the camera would be doing that and then lead to a blue screen eventually which i show below
- blue screen for rearview camera
- here's a clip where the rear camera works fine for 4-5 sec and then goes out. I'm just moving the camera around and moving the cable, trying to figure out what could be the problem
