Blackvue DR600GW-HD (increased bitrate)

Reggie check the file size of your parking files for example. The size will be 77,000 with the original firmware and 97,000 with the custom firmware to be sure. If one minute files are 77,000 you do not have the custom firmware working on your dashcam.

You guys are right, when I checked the file it was less in size + it was 7mbps bitrate

I formatted the SD card and just inserted the modified file directly, then inserted into cam, started to update - and I kept it same as screenshot above. Only issue is when I click on firmare setting in the android app, it says Config File error BUT the file records fine with correct pacific time and here is the file details for 1 min

Good you have it working .......no idea what the firmware setting you keep speaking about nor the android app. I only use my computer to review and update SD cards

Its the android app, see error - happens with modded file but not with original

2I'm also having the problem of "Please Check The SD Card", on trying to run V4 of the upgraded software.

Re formatted and went back to version 3 and now getting the same issue there too, Please Check SD Card, and it's a 64gb class 10 card.

First 3 upgraded went through no problem, V.04 not so good!

Hi, I know its an old thread, but am I still ok if I go on the site and donate to get the update file ? Thanks !

There's no update. Same V1.004 13Mbps from a year ago.

No update needed. The maximum is already extracted from this camera and after over a year I'm still running it with this firmware. As long as this camera keeps purring along I will keep it going. No issues at all.
