Blackvue DR900X-2CH + 4G LTE power draw

Referring to my previous post. I have two 800 cranking amp batteries because it’s a 2019 F-350 6.7l diesel.

I’ve gone at most 2 days with a 15-20min commute for work with no issues.

A previous person posted about a cutoff switch. I connected mine directly to my uplifter (auxiliary) switch so I can turn it off and the cam will only use the blackvue battery.

Regardless of the draw, I’d highly recommend a cut off switch when connecting to an “always hot” fuse.

Also, the blackvue power magic B-130x only gets me 17ish hours of use vise the advertised 30 hrs.

@Orris575 But does b-130x have way to cutoff, if not on ACC?
I would only get a battery with extension as one 7000mah is not enough for whole weekend.

The b-130x does not turn off unless you turn the switch on the unit to off. However, without uplifter switches you can either tap it to an always hot fuse or an ACC fuse where it’ll “disconnect” from the battery when you turn the vehicle off.
