As per if it used as dashcam then most high-end uses 10-12Mbps at 1080p / 30fps, so it's 15Mbps at 1080p / 30Fps is far much higher as rest of Korean dash-cams. Same bit-rate is on GoPro Hero3 White.
Of course GoPro Hero3 Silver can do up to 35Mbps and Black can do up to 45Mbps. So yes, - here Blackvue is losing GoPro.

The demo videos on this list seem very slow. eg they have no fast moving action, and the one where the two kids are on the back of the bike when it ends up in dark shadows you seem to have a lot of Contrast in the camera. Not sure how much it is but I would be sending it out to an extreme mountain biker or something to show what it can really do.

Nice commercial up above.
Why on earth would anyone in their right mind buy a Blackvue ActionCam? In my opinion, with their last two cameras, they have already proved they don't have the chops to provide a reliable, consumer grade, camera. Dead batteries, time and date problems, disastrous firmware upgrades, non-existant customer support! The list goes on. And of course the most hackable cameras in existence with their own login prompts.
Sorry, with a world full of GoPro's, Countour's and other 'prime time ready cameras' to choose from, Blackvue does not make the list. I will use my replacement DR500GW-HD until this one dies, but no more flimsy Blackvue products for me.

Even if those problems didn't exist they don't have a history of great video quality, fast action scenes, fast changing light conditions etc play havoc with the current camera range which is hardly reassuring for anyone that wanted an action camera, I have to say though that I'm a little bit suspicious that they don't actually make this product themselves, not entirely at least

Few reviews and comparison with GoPro
