BlackVue Wi-Fi DR500GW-HD Cannot connect to WIFI

Bought this a week ago. Was able to connect to the wifi for the first week. Didn't make any changes and the app cannot find the blackvue this week. Even tried thru the wireless settings on my iPhone 5 and it says unable to connect to BlackVue Wi-Fi DR500GW-HD . It can see the network but cannot connect. No other wireless devices are connect to it. I have the latest firmware. 2.000 March 14/14.
I have reset the unit several times. It will record normally but will not connect to wifi.
Any suggestions would be great. thanks

If you've been able to connect before, try to "forget" the BlackVue WiFi connection in iPhone settings, then reboot your iPhone.

Your password will go back to blackvue after firmware update so maybe that's your problem.if your password was changed previously then your phone will not connect as it will be looking for the old password
