When I installed the A229 Plus, I updated it to the latest firmware (front: v1.3.1_250214, Rear: v1.3.1_241204), and tried to use my old original RM100 Bluetooth remote that I had from my previos A129 Duo camera. The remote paired ok, but pressing the emergency button didn't cause the camera to lock the video (no matter how many times I pressed it), despite the remote's blue LED illuminating each time.
Knowing that the newer BTR200 had been released, I thought support for the older button model with the new camera was probably just flakey, so I ordered the new remote.
However, when the new one arrived, I paired it succesfully, and just like before the remote's led illuminates blue when the button is pressed, but nothing happens, regardless of which button was pressed (emergency, wi-fi or mic).
Has anyone else come across this problem, and if so did you find a solution?
