How do I spot it's a clone? I bought it from Amazon thru seller OCD Tronic. I know they are listed in the Viofo website as reseller. But I hate to get another dud since i bought the A118 via Gearbest thinking it's Viofo lol...

Don't worry we only sell authentic A119/A119S products shipped from the official VIOFO Factory.
I'm not aware of any A119/A119S "clone" copies out there. (only the older A118 has clone/copy problems)

That's the latest release firmware shipping on all units today. There is a newer beta firmware if you want to try out some of the new features. (per-release)
