Bought my first dash cam. Any suggestions on best placement or tips on good practices for video management

Hey everyone so i decided to go with the garmin 46. I chose the 46 as it was cheaper than the 56 and has the same functions just records in 1080p instead of 1440. I also bought the parking mode cable to install along with a samsung evo 64gb class 10 card.

Any tips on video management or specific settings i should pay attention to?
