Hi,
My power cable for my SG9665GC v3 broke off at the power adapter. I purchased the unit last year but I'm not sure if it is still under warranty.

Is there a way to get a new power cord?

Thanks,

cwatx

Is it not covered under warranty or qualify for a one time replacement?

This is the 3rd Street Guardian cam that I've purchased, but the first that has experienced this

Thanks

The SG9665GC uses a standard USB-A to Mini-B cable. An excellent replacement is the Monoprice 28/24 AWG 5 pin which comes with gold plated plugs, a ferrite bead and is available in lengths up to 15 feet.

The prices for these very high quality, shielded cables are very modest even with the shipping charges. For example, the 10 footer goes for $1.99 plus somewhere about the same amount for shipping.

These types of cable require your own USB 12V charger which are also available at modest cost. Personally, I prefer these over the supplied chargers since they make it easy to use a power bank to run the camera if so desired and they provide two or more ports.
