I recently purchased the toguard ce70 mirror camera and it appears to be buffering ! , it was working for a short while but now seems to be buffering, any help would be much appreciated.

Can you describe what you're experiencing more clearly?
In dashcam language buffering may have a different meaning, as most cams do buffer the recorded data until the file is closed but it happens invisibly and you'll never see it happening. And pre-buffering refers to a parking mode function some cams have.
