Buying a Panorama2 from JazJon/Roadcam.com - Why should I buy GPS logger or hard-wire power supply?

Try to convince me why I should buy the hard-wire power supply kit or the GPS logger. My main purpose is to use the cam for dispute/insurance protection.

The cam is going in my daily driver, and I commute ~100 miles a day (48 miles each way). Almost purely freeway driving. I park in my attached garage at night and park in a parking garage at work.

Thanks to the forum/dashcamtalk.com for the wealth of information. There's simply too much to consume. Thanks also to @JazJon for being a reseller and @jokiin for sharing so much knowledge with everyone.

GPS is good to keep accurate time date and location info, one less thing to try and remember in the event of an incident
 
If your car gets hit in the car park, if you hardwire you cam, you can catch the perpetrator.
