Hello everybody!!

I am planing to buy my first DashCam from Ebay.
I made a research, and decided to buy LS300W(65$ price).
Now i have a question.
What is the difference between this cam and GT300w??
And i understood that LS300W will not get updates. Is it important??
And if you know better cam in this price, tell me please.

Thx u

There is no LS300W at $65, VF300W maybe.

May not be DOD I believe that the camera should have LS300W and DOD logo on front of camera and be approx. 100 usd+

The link you provided is for a VF300W not an LS300W not matter what the title says. There are discussions on this board about the VF300W. Decent camera for the price, but it's not an LS300W.
Here is a more honest seller of that camera:

Dom u think it is fake Camera??
And can u suggest me camera until 75$price??
Having only used the Mobius, I can only say it's a great little camera. The video to me is impressive and the developer continues to improve the camera through firmware updates. One great feature is the developer giving buyers a list of authorized sellers to ensure we get the real thing. As you're learning fakes are everywhere.

First quetion.. in the site with the non brand the camers movies looks great. Why not buy this??
And the mobius has LCD Screen?

There is nothing wrong with a VF300W, for $65 it is a decent camera for the price. So is the Mobius. Do some research on this site. there are video comparisions between LS300W/VF300W.
Not a big difference in quality between the two and the real LS300W is about double the price of a VF300W.

can u give me link to mobius??
and a LCD screen is a necessary on dashCam, isn't it??

No it's not necessary, you have to think things though and research a bit more. It's a personal preference but depends on what you want and need.
I have 2 Mobius and a GT300W (similar to VF300W/LS300W) they are all okay for the price.
Mobius may require a little more "geek" factor to set up without a screen, but it's advantages are it's size.
However since you are in a warm climate area, you may want to consider a cam with a capacitor instead of a battery. Something like a G1W-C would fit your budget.
Link to Mobius: https://www.ebay.com/itm/151071891306 They also sell a capacitor for the Mobius but you'd have to message the eBay seller to get one and change it yourself at this point.

I've got an old DOD camcorder which has dashcam facility - just the basic auto stop/start on power and loop record but it does a fantastic job & has served me well for many years - just that it's a tad bulky (and mainly silver!).
So DOD has a good pedigree. The LS300W has loads of bells and whistles - do you need them? When I review my video clips, I know where I was so I don't need GPS overlay reminding me or G-sensor graphs etc.
The G1W seems to be getting a lot of good publicity - most;ly because it seems to have decent video quality & is dirt cheap.

As I mentioned in the post above, if you replace the battery with a capacitor there is no problem with the Mobius in your climate.

And what about mobius.
It will survive the israeli temperture??
I'm using mine in Mexico, where the average day temp is 25C/75F and almost always sunny. Checking on Israel temps, it seems your weather isn't too extreme. I'm careful to keep mine out of the direct sun when parked, and remove it when parked in heavy sun.
My reasoning for the Mobius: it's tiny, great video, awesome support by two forums and continous developer firmware upgrades, not to mention it's really versatile. I have always wanted a GoPro, being a mountain biker, climber and love to carry a video camera into the backcountry, not to mention take time lapse videos. The Mobius fills so many uses for me, that if ever I decide to upgrade my dash cam for more bells and whistles, it will still be used.

OK..
Can u send me please a person that sends capacitor in ebay please?? i didnt find anyone.
And i think i will buy the mobious. Thank u so much.

Last question is how can i install it in my car ??

Here is the thread regarding the capacitors, if you want to go that route

http://www.ebay.com/usr/eletoponline365 is the main seller of these cameras on ebay, he may have them. I know www.JooVuu.com has them too. @JooVuu is a member here on this forum

As far as mounting, you buy the USB adapter, cable and adhesive mount (or suction cup if you prefer) in addition to the camera. You can also buy them in a package depending where you buy from. @spytec sells the package on ebay and is a member here as well. http://www.ebay.com/usr/spytecinc

Here is the list of developer authorized sellers, so you know you get the real thing. Be careful there are fakes out there.
