C3 USB/mic/vid connector pinout..

First, I used this pin order:

I metered between the ends of the various leads in the kit to determine the following:

1. GND (for everything, including power.
2. MIC hot (The red center wire in the mic cable)
3. USB D-
4. USB D+
5. Tied to GND when video cable is plugged in (shorted in cable)
6. Video out (center pin in yellow RCA connector)
7. Audio out (center pin in red RCA connector)
8. USB +5V (power)

There was a page on the web for another camera that said pin 5 enables video and audio out when grounded, I suspect these not enabled all the time to avoid interference with USB data or MIC .

Quite a few companies use this connector, as shown here:

Some are similar, but all are different, because there's no standard like there is for USB.

pin2 is +5v charge...for c1/2...
so c3 is lay out different.....
 
Rock ..can I apply 5v at pin 2 on C3?
 
Pin 8 is the 5v pin

I made some power cord for C1 with pin 2 as 5v....that was the configuration for c1/c2.
I have to re-do my connectors.

better yet....

power only cable from Innovv ..are they using pin 1, 8 ?

You have the pin number reversed..

The pwb is pad number.not the same.
