Camera freezes routinely

I have had this camera for nearly a month now.
Two problems I have had:

1) When plugging in the camera to the car's hardwired cable I would get a prompt for Mass-Storage mode. This I resolved by ordering a garmin power cable that basically only has the power pins for the unit. There goes another $20.

2) The biggest issue: About 3 weeks into using this camera, I am now getting an issue where the unit just freezes up and shows a still image. The buttons are completely inoperational and it can only be fixed by holding the power button down and resetting.

I have the latest firmware available (3.80) and have filed a support ticket with them.

Have you solved this problem because I have the same one. I already checked memory card but it's nothing

Tagging @lacibaci who seems to know Garmins best here Does sound like card issues though; which card are you using and have you checked it with h2testw yet?
