Camera Intermittently Stopping Recording

First I checked the memory card - tested OK and other cards didn't make the situation any better.

Then I checked the camera - it worked fine for many hours using a mains electricity adapter in my kitchen.

Then I tried a different camera in the car - the second camera started randomly stopping recording.

I changed the power supply - problem solved.

For the record, the failing power supply was a genuine Transcend dashcam power cable, bought from a reputable retailer 1-2yrs ago.
