I went to get some video clips off of my SG9665GC camera and realized that it must be having issues with recording to the Sandisk micro sd card I had in there the past several months because the most recent recording was from a long time ago. I tried formatting the card on my PC then again in the dash cam and also upgrading to V3 firmware at the same time, and the camera started asking for a re-format over and over.
A little research told me that the Sandisk extreme card I had would have issues with a dash cam, so I bought a Lexar High Perforance 633x 64GB card.
With the Lexar I am getting the same format prompt over and over. Although, the second time I drove today, I'm not sure it asked for a format again.
Any ideas?
Edit: I just checked and all records are there from today.
