I leave my camera in parking guard overnight, and every time i come out inthe morning is powered off. Ive made sure to disable the (power off) option in the menu, and parking motion enabled. still. every morning its turned off.

Also GPS module never got a signal, inside, outside, camera wont connect to GPS, thus time will never be correct, Cant adjust it in menu.

1, for the camera turn off, which band are you setting the hardwire kit? if it is 12.4V you may try 12.2V or 12.0V.
2, is there GPS icon on the display panel? and please don't forget to set the correct time zone in setting menu.

Still a problem for me, Had it originally set to 11.4v or what ever the lower option was, moved it to 12.0v and this happened https://streamable.com/l8wu6. So needless to say im at a loss. I want to return the camera. though im P**sed because I had paid to have it installed since i wanted it hardwired.

looks like the difference between cutoff voltage and rising voltage isn't great enough in the power supply

is there something I can do about that?

in this case, I belive the vehicle Acid is aged so there is a big difference between NO LOAD voltage and ON LOAD voltage.
for example, the floating voltage is 12.6V,
when a 2 watt output connected the voltage drop to 12.1V immediately; (a healthy battery will not drop so much)
when the output works, the voltage drop to 12.0V in seconds;
the output cut off because the Drain Protecting Voltage set to 12.0V;
when the output cut off, the acid floating voltage rise quickly to 12.6V quickly;
the output will be active when the voltage back to 12.5V;

running the cycle.

In this case, we suggest to replace the Acid because no one knows what is the time the Acid ending;
for temporarily, you can set the drain protectting voltage lowest band - 11.8V

Replace my "acid"? you mean the battery? I just got new battery on the 14th.. Other than that, not trying to replace a car for a dashcam.

Hi @SgtSubaru,
what is the purchase date of the hardwire kit?
do you mind to try a new hardwire kit?
maybe the voltage measurement on your hardwire kit is out of tolerance, not sure.
