Can I connect hardwire kit to GPS mount?

A pre-purchase question: I know the hardwire kit for the A129 needs to be connected to the camera itself for parking mode to work, but if I don't plan to use parking mode for long periods is it possible to just connect it to the GPS mount (for ease of camera removal), or will the camera then not power on properly? I can't see any mention of being able to specifically disable parking mode in the instructions.

Yes, you can.
If you plan to buy 2CH set (with rear camera) you will need unplug rear camera cable for front camera removal.

I can't see any mention of being able to specifically disable parking mode in the instructions.

It's possibile to switch off parking mode on the menu.
