Can't get my rear camera to mount on the plastic, keeps falling off

all been discussed before.
I'm not sticking to the windshield. Not a valid post. Thanks anyways.

The camera hasn't come off since using the 3m scotch 30lb tape. Works great. Thanks for recommending that.

I am in exact or very similar situation. I tried with new adhesive tape and always falls down from my rear SUV windshield. Also the brutal cold temp is making is worse falls off even more easily. I think opening and closing the trunk regularly also makes it loose. Pls tell me any simple solution. Mine is hardwired and hidden by professional as I am not DIY

Don't apply the adhesive when it's cold, it will have trouble bonding
It falls off cold or not. Yes it fell of within few mins when I replaced the adhesive tape yesterday when it was brutally cold. But It fell off many times in summer. I need much stronger glue tape or magnet or something .

Thats also a reason i am wondering if the camera i stuck to my newly cleaned windscreen yesterday will stay there, it was after all -3 degrees when i did it.
But i have installed cameras in cold weather before and it have not seemed to matter much, but spec sheets do say to avoid it if you can.

EDIT: the camera are still where i left it seem.
