Hi all,

I have two C2s at the moment, and am moving to Florida this summer, where I am now concerned about the heat these two camera will be subjected to. I also have a Mobius, and bought the capacitor for that and installed no problem.

Has anyone retro-fitted a capacitor into the C1/C2? I opened up the C2 per cF7's tutorial, but the C2 lens makes taking it apart more difficult, as I'll have to remove the lens first (not ready to attempt that yet).

While I had it opened, I compared the Mobius capacitor to the C2's battery, and it appears to me that the Mobius capacitor is to thick to try to use that. What capacitor is used in the C3 unit?

Thanks in advanced for your help.

That makes sense. Guess I may need a new rear camer a then, sigh.

there are some good images of C3 (not C2) internals on these blogs that may be of some use for you.

Thanks, but I think space is the issue with the C1/2. Think I might try to sell them and pick up another Mobius.
