Hi guys,

The CE marking is the manufacturer's declaration that the product meets the requirements of the applicable EC directives.
Does any of you sellers here know is it mandatory to have CE certificate when importing dashcams without gps unit in EU as an company?

When there is a GPS receiver then it fells under radio and telecommunications terminal equipment. In this case CE is mandatory.
but otherwise if you are just importer and there is no GPS not sure you have obligation to have CE mark for devices working under 50V (outside the scope of the LVD)
i am googling whole day and still have no idea...

Needs CE, ROHS and you need to be registered for WEEE in whatever countries you're selling to

if this is true than it's amazing how many manufacturers actually don't have real CE...

I think you will find that the cams have it on the packaging.
These cams are quite tiny and there is no room to place such stickers.

Not even sure the go pro's or the very tiny sony sports cams have any such logo's on them either.
