We can reset the camera by loading firmware with a Windows laptop!
Please download this tool here (Only works with Windows system)
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1WcMO4W664dvM--CxoY0QMjMfmph3pBcG

Also, please load this BIN file from this link (V1.06.20180528s standard firmware)
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SY9W1kx7jMn7pFl1MZGEfpVfz-a32Mlh/view

And then you can load it in this way: No need to insert a memory card into camera unit, please note!
1) Keep pressing this button when plugging into the laptop USB socket.
2)Open this tool and select this "load bin file" section and load this bin file which lists in the second link.
3)Click this "start update"

Or do it in this way to reset WiFi password:
You can download this WiFi reset firmware:https://drive.google.com/open?id=1zI8PsYtwUaSk4UVj5EymtJfNK1mr3Pu7

You can reset the WiFi password to the default: 1234567890
  1. Download the firmware. You will find default_cfg.bin
  2. Format the SD card in FAT32 format on a windows computer. If a 64Gb card or above, you should use the third-party tool Guiformat to format the card as FAT32.
  3. Copy the default_cfg.bin files over to the root directory of the SD card and put the card into the camera.
  4. Power on the camera in the car and the firmware should automatically move onto the camera, leave for 30 seconds to 1 minute to ensure the firmware has updated the camera.

yeah I have a Mac will have to find a way to do this

The 2nd method will be ideal for you!
