thanks,l don't usually use 4G, but prefer its ADAS feature😄The colors on the 70mai do look much more vibrant. It is nicer to look at.
However if I look at the plates, then the Viofo is slightly better from what I saw.
You also need to decide if you want to use the 4g features of the 70mai. I think this decision is more important, since both images are on a very high level.
For an accident camera, looks like there is too much contrast on the 70mai, details will get lost in the darkness. My A810plus has arrived and I have compared it briefly,Which one do you think I should keep?
I have never found any of the ADAS features to be actually useful!but prefer its ADAS feature😄
If you value plate capture, it will be the A229 Pro. However the picture does look better on 70mai though it can be a bit heavy on the colour processing. My A810plus has arrived and I have compared it briefly,Which one do you think I should keep?

The interior camera of T800 is clearer.229Pro is a little bad.If you value plate capture, it will be the A229 Pro. However the picture does look better on 70mai though it can be a bit heavy on the colour processing.
4G is very handy on the 70mai, so you have to consider that too if that something you want.
ADAS is not very good on any dashcam, it is night and day between it and those on vehicles where ADAS is built-in
I would be interested to see the quality of the interior camera on the T800...
That is a nice image from the T800, very good for an IR image, but there does not seem to be any IR illumination, I can't see the IR LED's giving out any IR light? It is normally the IR light that makes IR images not very sharp, so if you don't have any IR illumination then the image will be sharper, or black if there is no source of light! The interior camera of T800 is clearer.229Pro is a little bad.
When looking at infrared lights with the naked eye at night, the a229Pro can hardly see infrared lights, but the lights of the a810plus are brighter. That is a nice image from the T800, very good for an IR image, but there does not seem to be any IR illumination, I can't see the IR LED's giving out any IR light? Image seems a bit high for both dashcams, doesn't it?I also tested it in the evening and found that a229Pro is still clearer than A810Plus.

The A229Pro uses invisible IR light, you can't see it with the naked eye. When looking at infrared lights with the naked eye at night, the a229Pro can hardly see infrared lights, but the lights of the a810plus are brighter.
The infrared light of the 229Pro can also be seen by the naked eye in dark environments, but it is not so obvious. The 810p is more obvious😄The A229Pro uses invisible IR light, you can't see it with the naked eye.
The A810 must use an IR frequency close to red, that you can just see,
Would be interesting how fast it is compared to the A329 with WiFi 6.I tested the download speed of two dashcams, and because 810p supports WIFI6, the download speed is three times faster than 229Pro,810p clearly wins in this regard.
Differences will be minimal, real world usage always depends on certain factors, but overall of course it should be noticeably fasterWould be interesting how fast it is compared to the A329 with WiFi 6.
Should be more or less the same I think.
The bigger difference will probably the bitrate the camera does record at and the resulting file size.Differences will be minimal, real world usage always depends on certain factors, but overall of course it should be noticeably faster
The clarity of the two dashcams is comparable during the day, but the difference is significant at night. Whether the 810 has 4k30fps HDR or 4K60fps, it is not as good as the 229's 4k30fps.For sure the Wi-Fi 6 has a bigger transfer speed that the one used on A229. We can see this when comparing the A329 with A229 Pro.
Because the quality of the images are very similar (always Viofo details of the image will be a little better than 70Mai because their lenses are better quality than the ones used by 70Mai) my advice is to chose the camera by its features. Just remove the ADAS from your mind because it is useless and judge the features of the both cameras. Maybe some of them are very important for you and make your decision based on priority.
If both dashcams are stable products you will be not wrong by choosing any of them.
