More than I can review. ;)
Let's compare the Gitup Git1 vs SJ7000.
Both are in budget action camera class but SJ7000 is cheaper.

As for processor, both use Novatek but the sensor is different.
Git1 sensor: Sony IMX22
SJ7000 sensor: AR330
Overall, Sony sensor should be better, specially at low light conditions.

Git1 is slightly smaller all around.
Both feel well made.
Both have power/mode button in the front and ok/shutter button on top with settings and ports on the sides.

Power:
Git1: Mini USB
SJ7000: Micro USB

LCD display:
1.5" on Git1
2.0" on SJ7000

Menu settings and Wi-Fi are accessed little differently but nothing too major.

Battery size is same physically but 900mAh on SJ7000 and 950mAh on Git1.

Waterproof housing:
Slightly smaller on Git1 and opens on side while SJ7000 housing opens on top.

Both come with a lot of accessories with few differences and all have GoPro type (slide and screw) connection.

Git1 also has wristband watch style remote available.

It looks like the "SJ7000" is in fact a "SJ4000" with a 2 inch screen.
 
Daytime Screenshots: Datetime stamp on Git1 is on the lower right hand corner while SJ7000 has bigger fonts on the bottom left.
FOV is slightly wider on SJ7000.
Video quality/focus is better on Git1.
Color balance/exposure looks more natural on SJ7000.

Exposure is slightly higher on Git1 and makes footage brighter in comparison.
 
It looks like the "SJ7000" is in fact a "SJ4000" with a 2 inch screen.
Copy of SJ5000 with 2" screen as it has Wi-Fi.

You can play both at the same time here in small windows or play them separately if you have two monitor setup.

Pictures from SJ7000 look more natural or better due to right exposure and better color tone but sharpness/focus is not good compared to Git1.
Maybe other units have good focus but the one I'm comparing has overall softer focus and pretty blurry on right side.
Check the parking lot of King Soopers above.
License plates on the right are not readable on SJ7000.

I heard photo mode is not that great on Git1 due to small sensor size so I'll test photo mode as well.

Will there be any night time comparision shots.
Yes, probably today or this weekend.
Also, underwater test will be added and probably some bike video if I get hold of my buddy. ;)

Low light and Night comparisons:
Let me say it, Git1 smacks the SJ7000's butt in low light conditions. Not even close.
The Sony IMX322 sensor in Git1 really is much better than SJ7000's Aptina AR0330 sensor in low light/night.

Overall, Gitup Git1 has excellent low light/night performance and easily beats the SJ7000.
In comparison, SJ7000's night videos are very dark, grainy and lack details the Git1 has.

Night video comparisons:
Git1 has much better night videos, better exposure and details in comparison.
Audio is louder in Git1 but has some distortion at times.
Audio is lower in SJ7000 and more clear but that could be because it's low volume.

You can play both videos at the same time here in small windows or play them separately if you have two monitor setup.
SJ7000's videos are few seconds ahead.

Yes, SJ7000 is definitely much cheaper and nice camera for the price.

People get what he paid for, there is even $10 SJ4000 in Chinese market, mainly sell as gift.
 
Photo mode at 8M comparison:
Git1 vs SJ7000 vs Firefly 5S
Pictures are labeled.
Photo on Firefly 5S is smoothest but underexposed and since it covers a lot of FOV, objects are smaller. Firefly has option to change FOV to Large, Middle and Small that may bring it closer to others so I'll try that next time for comparison.
Quality is best on SJ7000 followed by Firefly and then Git1.
Colors are best on SJ7000 followed by Git1 and Firefly. Actually, Firefly has better natural color but also has too much tint red/blue tone so AWB is off on the Firefly.

1. Full FOV resized: Firefly 5S has widest FOV followed by SJ7000 and Git1 has narrowest FOV.

Firefly at Medium and Small FOV:
It seems like Firefly 5S' Medium FOV is equivalent to SJ7000 and Git1's default FOV.

Why is Git 1 darker then Sj7000.
All settings in Git1 and Firefly are default.
SJ7000 has EV+1 I think since I changed that for night video before so I'll double check if that's the case.
Firefly is very underexposed and it doesn't have EV adjustments.

In reality, it looks more like in between SJ7000 and Git1.
SJ7000 shows little bit bright so Git1 may need EV+1/2 to get at what really it is.

Yes, it looks more natural color but it just has too much blue/red tint making it darker otherwise that's the actual color.
If you look at the flowers, they should have some petals that are reddish yellow like Firefly and SJ7000 and darker but Git1 shows them all yellow.

The pickup is blue so Firefly and SJ7000 have the correct color.
Git1 shows dark brown/black.
Also, the street signs are lighter green and trunk of classic car in the garage is dark green as SJ7000 shows.
Git1 has the color off and shows up as dark brown/black with just a little bit of green tone.
