Connected, No internet

Just had the F770 professionally fitted and followed all the instructions, downloading the app, pressing the wifi button, entering the password etc.

But I keep getting the message connected, no internet on my phone. I have a Sony Xperia XA2 and am using android version 9. Got a Thinkwear 32 gb card inserted. Can connect on hubbys Samsung Galaxy S10 Edge so can't work out why I can't connect to my Sony.

Please can anyone help?

By default your phones, tablets, PCs, etc. are expecting internet availability via WiFi connection, and if there isn't any, they are informing you about it. Because you are connected to your dashcam via WiFi, your phone informed you, there is no access to the internet. Smarter devices, in cases like this, are capable to switch to internet using the plan of your mobile carrier, and keeping alive the WiFi connection at the same time. Dumber devices just have a priority for WiFi, and that's it.
