I have recently changed my car and had to leave the cables for my camera in the old car.
What I am looking for now is some way of connecting the X2 to the cigarette lighter socket but, I've noticed that there are three cables on the original X2 power lead and there are only two in the normal lead from the cigarette lighter. I have a feeling that this won't matter too much but, I am also wondering if someone can tell me what sort of plug it is that goes into the DC socket on the camera
I have been trying to power it up by using a 300mA (3.6 VA)Maximum output Universal AC/DC Unregulated Adaptor. This means nothing to me but I'm sure someone on here will know what that is. What I don't know is if the plug going into the camera is the wrong one, although it does seem to fit OK or, if the actual adaptor isn't working. What I don't know is whether the correct setup should be Positive Tip or Negative Tip on the camera.
Any thoughts anyone please?
