Who has tried tried running Live View while driving? I'm interested to hear how much lag there is between the app and what the lens is "seeing". Haven't installed my DRs yet, and the question only occurred to me because I've been using my Galaxy S8 on its dashboard mount as an interim dashcam. One day when it was raining, I noticed that the real-time image of the windshield wipers (in the Galaxy's Camera app) was distinctly behind the actual wipers I was seeing.
And is it true that recording is suspended when Live View is running in the app? If so, I can get around that by running a screen-capture of the Live View image -- but it's pointless if LV is significantly delayed.
BTW, I've already read all the posts saying, "It's not meant for that!". But I'd like to know anyhow.
